The Children's Institute is dedicated to promoting the well-being of children, young people and their families and to providing services that meet their special needs.

The Children's Institute has both inpatient and outpatient programs for children and young adults who are challenged by brain injury, learning disabilities, developmental delays and congenital disorders. Based on each child's needs, an individualized program is developed by a team of physicians and clinicians. The program is designed to assist the child in reaching his or her fullest potential.

Our Learning Disabilities Programs Include:

	Physical, occupational and speech-language therapy
	The Day School: An Approved Private School for children ages two through 21 who are challenged by cerebral palsy and/or neurological impairment
	Kids on the Block, a unique program that teaches children about disabilities through the use of a puppet show
	LD Management programs: Behavioral programs, social skills development, communications training, perceptual skills development, motor training and psychological management
